Comments: Hey Denice, I am glad Julie sent me your new website. It is great. Lots of info and loved the photos, especially the black and whites or you. I remember not to pet the cat! Hope to see you and Julie in Whimberly at the end of July. You have to play at least one song for us girls! God bless and the best with your new CD. Always, Kelly

Comments: Dear Denice, What a treat it was to meet you and hear you perform at the 2007 Plainsong Folk Festival in Lincoln, NE. I'm sorry the area could not turn out a better audience for you. People do now know what they missed! I am so glad that we made the trip up from Adams, which is a whole 45 minutes away. ;) Too bad the wind forced you indoors. Dang, it was hot! And that door slamming. oops! Didn't mean to scare the perfomer! I am sending photos from that day. Most are of you, but some are of other perfomers and attendees hanging out and making music. Hope to see you back in Nebraska! Sincerely, Shala Carter, new fan
Comments: Dear Denice, You were absolutely wonderful last night at Godfreys. How i wished you could have played all night long. "Saints" was just beautiful... thank you so much for playing it....I am listening to it as I type and as I do every Sunday morning on my way to work in a nursing home in Pa. Thanks for filling this world of ours with your sunshine and magic. You are incredible!!!!!
Comments: Franke, I see you'll be in Korn Kountry later in September. The door is always open, and we'll leave the light on. Terry G.
Comments: Hi Denise, One summer, I believe it was 1981, I spent nearly every weekend at Gruene Hall listening to Beacon City Band. Caught you and Doug a couple of time at the Texas Tavern later on and saw the Beacon City Band Reunion (minus 1) at the Tavern. I sure do miss those days. I wore out my tape of the Beacon City Band album. Sure wish I could get a copy on CD. If you ever decide to make some, I'd sure appreciate the chance to buy one. Best Wishes, Scott
Comments: Franke, Happy Birthday, we will be thinking of you and your smilin' face on Wed. The show at Passim's with Pierce should be a lot of fun. Lots of Guinness on your day. My love to you and JA, Douger |
