Lots of people listen to "Klingan" in Finland, too. My absolute favourite! So that's where I heard your music and bought the record right away. Fantastic music, thank you Denice! There are people coming over from Finland if you ever make it to Stockholm, Denice! How's your Finnish, Kimmo from Sweden? :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Have a good one.
Did you know that your album was "the album of the week" in the Swedish radio- program "Klingan" 5 th of April.
I`m not a manager but I can check some places for you to play in Sweden, maybe someday...
Í`ll keep in touch, best wishes,
Denice, We went to High School together and I always loved to hear you sing. I love your music and am so glad your career is going well. Will try to catch you next time we're in Galveston. Larry
Just heard your song "Seminole girl" on the Swedish radio. Great music!
Greetings from a snowy Sweden- keep on singin´!
My brother surprised me with your CDs for Christmas. It was such a happy shock... I immediately put them in and just cried as happy memories came flooding back... all those Sunday afternoons at Gruene Hall and Thursday nights at Grins, listening to you and Doug and Beacon City Band... your voice is still amazing, full of soul and "emotional nuance" (ooh, there's an English major term for ya)... you have an amazing gift and I am so thrilled that you are still using it to make the world a better place. Keep singing, girl! And now I can keep up with you! Give JB a hug for me...
Howdy from a former Charles A. Gill classmate. I still remember the time we got in trouble together and had to go to Mrs. Latham's office!
Glad to see your career is going well...please stay in touch...
We wuz in Tehacapi on 16 Jan. You tickled our ears purty good.
Uncle Don Allen forwarded me your website address. Do you remember me, I am Shirley Allen son. Just wanted to sign your guest book.
My Daughter will get a kick out of this. Be sure to let me know if you ever come to Atlanta.
Anyway, keeep up the good work!
Great to see you in Nashville and hear you sing with Peter Cooper. I was reminded of many earlier times in kerrville. This new cd is dead on, and I wish we had talked before I did my book on the women of Texas music. Your writing is perfectly matched by the music, rhythm, silence and sound. I'll enjoy sharing the songs with my Texas music class at Schreiner, and I'll use it when I give presentations on women in Texas music. Will you be at Luckenbach for the benefit for Galveston Old Quarter? Send me material for my column, On The Road, and for our THMF archives.
